RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Registration is underway for children preparing for First Holy Communion (2nd and 3rd grades), Confirmation (9th and 10th grades), and OCIC (for children of various ages who are catching up on their sacraments). Students returning from last year are welcome. Please call or come to the office to complete a registration form. Fees are due at the time of registration as well as baptism certificates if not already submitted. Please note, families must be registered parishioners to enroll in Religious Education. Deadline to register is September 11.
SEPTEMBER
JORNADA DE FE
Jornada de Fe is an adult faith formation program that discusses such topics as scripture, Church history, and morality. Jornada meets once a month in the Parish Hall. September's meeting is on the 12th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Contact coordinators Ann Kaul or Brian Stafford at 505-424-1750 or ann_kaul@yahoo.com and secanre@cybermesa.com.
STATEWIDE DAY OF PRAYER
Christians are uniting in prayer in multiple cities throughout New Mexico to pray for an end to abortion. We’ll ask our Lord to heal mothers affected by abortion and shut down the Las Cruces Abortion facility. In Santa Fe, please meet at the Roundhouse (Capitol Bldg.) at 9:00 a.m. Let Us Not Remain Silent. Please Show Up - Stand Up - Speak Up.
